You offer a list that is full of things. Things that imply value. But, maybe a person with no intelligence values someone of no intelligence also. Or someone without a sense of humor finds no value in humor. What is a 'good' personality? What is interesting? Do they have to be employed? You list things. Qualifications. When I walk up to a person, I present myself. This is who I am. If there is chemistry and interest our conversation may last a long time, if there isn't there is awkwardness on either party's part and the relationship doesn't start. We align with people with whom we have deep desire and often respect. As a man, I bring everything to the table except what the other person can bring, and I don't need anything except to love them. I reach out to them and I love. See Eric Fromm The Art of Loving. What I need is to love. I don't need things, although when I met my fiancé she attracted me on a very deep level. I decided to love her. Luckily, she wants to be with me, or at least that is what has been happening.
