You inspired the piece. I really was not able to explain true love until I had this linguistic encounter with you. It represents symbolically how people who really hit it off seem to finish each others sentences, it's a bit like paraphrasing. Somewhere I once read that a man should close his eyes and listen to women in a room and find the woman he is most aligned with. It isn't so much about the physicality, but about the long-term connection, which goes deeper than what someone looks like. I have missed many women because I was only looking. I wasn't listening. I don't know that words have ever rolled so perfectly off my tongue after having read someone else's work, but I am often writing ekphrastic poetry or expressing myself after a fact. I loved it. Thank you again. You are a great writer.
