Today, I drove from Modesto to Walnut Creek, California. I noted the saturated ground, where water had created ponds in the middle of yards and fields and where a river ran just barely under the road of a bridge to where it felt like it could almost touch it with my feet if I were to dangle them. The planet may be dying, but with the rain that has fallen and the more that is coming, I am sensing a great harvest this year.
