This line is so lackadaisical, not so much as concerns the lack of activity described, but it plays on you like a linguistic gimmick. “I won’t lie…[like who cares if you apply sunscreen or not? We aren’t getting itchy, you are. But, it’s effective, because I know there isn’t a dumb gene in your body.] It’s not the kind of thing we give a lot of thought to, except that I read almost everything you write. There is always a sneer in it. Depth!
