Really? This sounds like a Slack Jaw piece.

There are so many great writers that no one knows. I have self-published at least seven books so far. No one is knocking at my door. And to put my astonishment in context, I once interviewed a major publishing house editor and he said that they only pick books that are like books that have sold. So, realistically, the writers don’t matter. It’s the books that sell.
