Ms. Smart, you are as gorgeous as any French girl.

Yesterday, I went out with my best friend Ourane. She is an aestitican from France. As depicted in your image, she doesn’t quite don a red lipstick, but she may. I don’t quite remember anything about her that screams. As you say, she is sublime. She has the style, everything works together and her favorite color is hot pink. What’s really exciting about her is that she is both beautiful and incredibly intelligent. Plus, she is a very positive being. Being with her is like being with a fairy. I remember the day I met her. She came into the restaurant where I was working with a French boyfirend. They were lovely and said, oddly enough being that they were French, that they had never had better service. But, as you may well know, attitudes are reciprocated. They created my service by their attitude and grace. A couple of months later, not realizing that it was she, because when I first met her she was wearing a maroon satin dress, I kept seeing her in passing in our apartment building. I slipped a note under her door. I wanted to date her. (This sounds so like the thesis of Luis Buñuel’s That Obscure Object of Desire). She said that she was seeing someone but would be willing to meet for coffee. We have been friends ever since. After many boyfriends, she finally found her husband, where we were last night at their palacial home. It was her birthday. I am going to link her to your piece. I loved reading it.

Turns out she agrees with almost everything you said.
