Mr. Wu, I think this is a different kind of calling out. It’s basis is to manipulate. There is ego involved and not true interest. The intention is to garner power over the other person, to put them in a recessive place so they can be taken advantage. Sure people need to look at situations realistically, but think of Capitalism as a huge example, where surplus capital explains the phenomenon, where one person controls all the machines that separate the individuals, who use their bodies in transactions. Those individuals cannot compete with the exponential implications of profit garnered from the machines vs what one person can produce. In other words, the economy becomes a pyramid scheme that only a very few can enjoy. This idea of success requires hood winking most of the populous, other countries. Note, the oil consumption by the US vs other countries. Consider invasions, like Russia’s of Ukraine. These are huge examples of gas lighting. Gas lighting has to do with intrusion with intent to diminish and make intellectually vulnerable to take advantage. Furthermore, as in romantic relationships, if you do not truly love or care for another person, you inherently take advantage of them unless you call yourself out, and even step away. But, you can be honest with yourself and love them, as say never cheating and supporting them by listening empathically and helping them and stopping things that make you less available physically and mentally.
