Me too! I am not here to brag about how many thousands I made last month writing an article about how much money I made last month. That’s circular reasoning. When I put pen to paper, it is my knee jerking because of some epiphany I felt, some insight I derived, yes usually because of some great idea or article I came across here on Medium, like yours, but I also get ideas on my own, I react to the world. I have things to say, art to create, dystopian perspectives to render, because my points of view tend toward the negative, mainly because my father died when I was ten, we have our reasons for writing, and they usually don’t give a sh#t about how to be a better writer, unless that’s your passion, but right now it’s not mine.
