“Lanky, skinny, awkward Giselle?” Sorry, but those words are music to my biological heart, but then to have those feelings seems politically incorrect. To have any preference/attraction/type is like entering into the terror of the female mind, which I guess is to also know that while my body was generally in shape, I salivate when as a man someone else says they attended Harvard and Cambridge. Our insecurities revolve around money. As writers, we want to be as good as those we admire. Capitalism is about the body. If you do not have machines to insulate you, if you are not monopolizing your industries, you are insecure. We cannot escape, since our health rises and falls. But again, your description of the physical is attractive, perhaps coy? Ultimately however, it is about smell, as human beings, we begin to realize our similarities when we stink, and our idealizations/objectifications coincide with feelings of competition, and if we don’t have healthy opinions of self, we attack the humanity of others?
