If people are not present in the courtroom and/or actually a party to the facts, how can anyone really pass judgement? The indictment is on the People, who were so consumed by the media and who were not critical of the information? A reasonable man given details presented by attorneys and guided by a judge can make an informed decision or not. The process is not perfect. That process took place away from the media. Thank god for that. I wish Joan Didion or someone of her caliber covered the trial. I was unable to watch much of it but felt I didn’t know/or see enough to make an informed decision, nor did I really care. I saw it as a distraction from my life.
