I would never defer to an apology or justification. I might be inclined to offer an explanation, which is narcissism. Someone told them that they were better than everyone else. So many of those who like to think of themselves as superior are deluded. Those of us, like myself, understand that we are not coders, doctors, lawyers, nurses, and so on, who actually have degrees and practical professions. I am a server in a restaurant and I understand my irrelevance to the kind of employment competition inherent in our system and world. As an artist, I am good at articulating what's wrong, but I actually do not have an solution for my own ineptitude. I am a writer, lyricist, painter, photographer, graphic designer, musician, etc., but none of these titles have any bearing, it would seem, in the present world. The present world is just a money and power grab, while those with guns brandish them as if there is some enemy attacking them. No, they are simply a danger to themselves and to others. They clearly do not understand the "Right to Bear Arms." The country is morally bankrupt. And yes, Americans choose that. They won't take responsiblity. Timothy J. Legg, Ph.D., CRNP said, there is not much you can do to change them. He said it is not our job to fix them and to take care of yourself. As you speak up for yourself, they may not understand nor care, he said. He said to set clear boundaries and not to commit to idle threats, but to follow through. He said, stand your ground and expect them to respond. Know that it it not your fault and don't let them take that away from you. He said, find support, insist on immediate action. He said that while it is a mental illness, he said not to excuse them. He said move on when: "You’re being verbally or emotionally abused; you feel manipulated and controlled; you’ve been physically abused or feel threatened; you feel isolatedthe person with NPD or a narcissistic personality shows signs of mental illness or substance abuse, but won’t get help; [and] your mental or physical health has been affected."
