I went to Barcelona and loved it. I wanted to live in one of the two-stories near Torre Agbar, where I played music at 2 AM on the street, where they also have a chess board on the road. I stayed in the Golden Tulip. What cautioned me was the entire block of homeless people living in make-shift houses or the flea market near the design center. While I studied Spanish in high school and at University, I had difficulty speaking because I first thought in English. While there, it was coming to me, but never like one would need to be fluent. I noticed IT companies coming in and saw that I didn't know what I could do there. I just wanted to play music in the streets, but good luck with that. For so many reasons, mainly how I felt, I loved Barcelona. The Contemporary Art Museum was heaven. The people were approachable and excellent.
