I want to concur with Mr. Webb.

Retail jobs, service jobs, etc. where people are on their feet for long hours as it is, will not be attracted to your scenario.

Sure, they would like to work fewer days, but their incomes also demand that they work at least 5 minimum-wage days, because if you haven’t actually worked one of these jobs or come to the point of having to pay a medical bill or want to retire, most wages are not sustainable.

Working less runs counter to the idea of a constantly rising cost of living.

What needs to be done is a redistribution of wealth.

When you remove the money from the general population, you starve it. Those people die. Or before they die, they see no hope in living, and some of whom fight back, some quietly disappear.

When they die, there is no one to provide food and services to the few.

You’ll see.

I know people who sleep in their cars between shifts/jobs.

Unless wages and benefits dramatically increase for all, people won’t be able to afford families.

Yes, I know about outsourcing.

Why do you think Trump is in office? There are symptoms of civil unrest.

With three days off, there will be more time to plan.

Read Kurt Vonnegut’s Player Piano (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Player_Piano_%28novel%29).

Thanks for sharing. Have a nice day!
