I use an iPhone to create music that an excellent pianist has said reminded him of a butterfly. I once argued with someone who said digital cameras had destroyed photography, where he cited Ansel Adams, and I said the camera is just a tool, digital albeit is more austere, like CDs are harsher than Tape or LPs, but inevitably we can manipulate for softness. And where I employ a device that changes the digital to analog sound, that aspect is really moot, where the notes I play are really the point.
