I really love the positivity of this piece, but I am loath to borrow any of the phrases for fear of having the recipient remember hearing them before. I thought of one of my own yesterday and used it: “Is their butter in butter lettuce?” I think the recipient looked at it and is wondering if I have a mental deficiency. The phrase is just sitting there like an abandoned jacket or a toddler’s hat at a water reservoir.
