I haven’t earned any money here, so I stopped posting chapters of my novella, for example, but I am hopeful. I will give it some time. I am posting a review of a book and various songs, arguing that the lyrics are stories or that I write music for readers. Certainly, my piano music could be considered reader-complementary. I don’t write for an audience. I write and make art according to the eloquence of ideas. These ideas have to be true. I just go with what means a lot to me. I am sure I am in left field. I am my own boss, however. I work hard. Let’s see if I go any place.

One of the major writers, wrote a piece which was an instruction as to how to make money on Medium. I ignored it. I don’t want to make money on Medium because I am following a formula. I believe in what comes to me. I believe that writing should be an art. It should be timely and in context. If I am not relevant, I will die in the margins. I accept that. What I love is what I want to be. I do, however, love most of what I read here. I admire what people come up with. I am however of late finding a lot of ideas for things to post here. I think we all would like to write what we feel is most important and have it become our bread and butter.
