I have yet to read this, but I am sure I would believe it and enjoy it. I read Capital by Marx. Apparently, Piketty was debunked, but Marx's tome is simply a view of how things work. Those who complain about it, I assume, either haven't read it or are against it because it tells the truth about society. The most interesting point is the one about surplus capital and why Marx hoped the machines would make people's lives better when in fact what they represented was that to maintain a monopoly, you have to work harder, faster, and smarter than everyone else all the time, and even then you may lose the race.
