I had the privilege of working as a note-taker in a class on mind control at CAL through retired Professor Richard Ofshe. I learned a lot about how persuasion works. You were removed from the typical environment and taught things the group was influenced to follow. I like that you were not drawn into the sexual aspects and described the whole experience as a shelf that eventually could not hold the weight of all the discrepancies. I often wonder about our general society and how someone like Trump could persuade people to act against their better interests (See: What's the Matter with Kansas by Thomas Frank). Thank you for sharing. I learned a lot from you.
