I don't think I could have stayed as you did. The most important point about the #MeToo! movement and things that have been coming from women is that the veracity of desire/privilege of being a man and having a world that supports you so you can be natural in its context and women have to be cautious and overly protective because men are blind, mostly or unempathetic to women, who must deal with them, and this isn't even talking about the psychopathic personality of the rapist. Men reside in this selfish consciousness because some women affect them viscerally. Perhaps it is their physicality, pheromones, and AWARENESS that makes a man objectify her, certainly he doesn't KNOW her. Some men can see that women's non-verbal communication is antagonistic toward them. But, most are caught up in the crush or desire to destroy or control, whatever those motivations are that they cannot or will not accept that it is not reciprocated. Like you did, you put your head down. It was happening again. Luckily, so many could see in your non-verbal communication that the encounter was wrong and they came to your rescue. Glad you are writing this too. It needs to be out here, so those of us who don't know who these guys are can talk about them and ourselves. I need to know. My true male friends are extremely sensitive to women. They are the highest caliber.
