I don’t think consent can honestly be given, where sex is dishonesty itself. I know that may seem shocking, but where men, it was deemed that they supported women can generally no longer guarantee this, they have no business engaging women. And while sex may be all a particular woman wants, I believe that intimacy is the ultimate motivation for sex, but because of the pressures of society, intimacy has become dependency or denial of a responsibility to self. The “need” for sex as Maslow has explained follows from the satisfaction of other needs below it, but where sex is like this need way out in left field, a kind of tumorous need that develops out of a pathological society, and has become like a Chucky doll, a detached unspiritual child of otherwise normal relations.
