I do want to address the crucial point of mere orgasm. In his Hierarchy of Needs, Abraham Maslow implied that once both of you get sex, other needs will appear, and the sexual need will seem much less significant. And you can't live off of mere sex. Relationships need to involve more needs to survive. Having an affair will bring many obstacles to a now straightforward life. I have been there. And all I have left is regret.
