I agree with you. I think the problem is people settle for being told what Marx's writing is about rather than ever reading it. I read Capital Volume 1 and I understand the book to be an exact explanation of our economic culture. One of the most important concepts for understanding Capitalism is surplus capital, which is " 'Capital' and is basically the unpaid value of the labor of the worker that creates a surplus product of which the entrepreneur becomes the owner. Thus originating the essence of exploitation or capitalist accumulation."
