Exactly. I have two Late 2007 iMacs in front of me that were fine until Apple sabotaged them. I cannot erase them and download El Capitan, at least that’s the current problem. Because they don’t support older systems they inherently undermine their appeal, which is supposed to be quality. I have spent too much time and money. My mac mini is simply faster for now, but every empty computer is fast. The problems are with organizing and with saving and protecting. I no longer trust the digital media. The other day I lost access to CS3. I just need to do my work! I am not interested in a company that believes and practices planned obsolescence. They have lost me.
