As I said, I don’t earn money from that aspect of my work. It’s an album cover or a book cover. I don’t think of money when I create works of art; I think of the truth or the eloquence of an idea. This way of doing things does not necessarily translate to monetary compensation. It’s kind of like lying in government pays, whereas I don’t lie. The truth, noting the death of journalists and journalism is apparently not a marketable skill. Brilliant art is often misunderstood or ahead of its time: Van Gogh. To focus on making money as an ulterior motive is antithetical to creating art, unless that’s the point of the art. In my case, I will maintain an old computer to run CS3 and keep it offline to protect it from viruses.

Thank you, but a thousand dollars a year is $12,000 in 12 years. That’s insane for a product that basically hasn’t changed since it’s inception and is suitable for what I use it for.
