As a fellow art photographer, who has done nudes, I understand your experience, but I had less of a problem with interruptions and more of one related to the results of #MeToo! and feminism on women’s attitudes toward nudes. I have a close friend, a male, both of us have either a Master’s or Master’s equivalent in photography and we have pretty much shut down the inquiry into shooting the human form. I love how your piece illustrates our lives. I especially love your initial piece and the story behind it. The more my relationship grows with my current girlfriend, the more I realize your thesis about the similarities of our bodies and how each gender is living within the world as an intrusive and disruptive force. It’s like the world is hostile and unfeeling. Your work proves that our creative and naked selves do not belong, are unwelcome. The truth, like our nudity, is causing incarceration. Trump’s attacks on the election, “The Big Lie,” an attack on journalism (truth/science), religion embedding law, government, and eventually we are only just cogs/serfs in a materialistic world.
